Hi,

I've got a great Clarissa elctro-acoustic guitar, and I'm really
curious to find out more about it. It's made in Italy. I've read a
post from 2001 saying that they were made under licence from Ovation.

Anyone else a fan of these guitars? Anyone got any more information
about them at all???

I think Steve Cobham had one of these that he used for slide as the
action was so bad.

Correct.

I still have it, too.

I have no idea whether the very high action is a feature of Clarissas.
I can't shift the trussrod in mine though to try and sort it out -
hence its use for slide.

To be fair, it's an old example, but if the modern ones are anything
like mine - avoid!

Steve.
