I recently found one of these in a skip. it is in pretty good condition although soem electrical work is needed.
I'm starting to restore it and wondered if anyone knows anything about it?

it is in HSS configuration and in addition to the three volume and tone controls there is a small silver switch which I guess is coil split. it has a locking nut and a floating trem. I'll know more when I pull it apart. It has the usual mucky jack problem but other than a few dings on the back will not need much work.

some of my searches have revealed that it might be a pre-lawsuit model.

There was never a legal problem over calling a guitar "Columbus" or with
the appearance of the decal.

A nice find, but don't expect too much from the guitar unless you are
preared to upgrade some of the hardware.
